About

Geoffrey Moyle, Principal, Cost Planner

Dip QS RMIT, AAIQS, RBP QS-1040

Geoffrey MoyleI’ve been an active member of the building design, construction and consulting industry for 29 years and have extensive experience on a wide range of projects.

In an industry where cost over-runs and delays are commonplace, I can demonstrate an enviable track record that’s yielded a wonderful portfolio of past successes, testimonials and satisfied clients.

Whether it’s helping a homeowner get the home they desire; a community group the building they need; ensuring a timely restaurant fitout; or facilitating a smooth development process for a large organisation; I pride myself in getting projects on track and keeping them there…

As a Cost Planner I provide professional advice to help my clients deliver the robust and innovative … and often highly acclaimed … results they seek.   My approach is organised and practical. If I say I can assist, I will.

I’m an Associate of the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors, a Registered Building Practitioner and have a Diploma of Quantity Surveying with Distinction (RMIT). In my spare time, I help raise my children, listen to music, write poetry and ponder the meaning of life in north-east Victoria.

Peter Moon, Built Environment Practitioner.

MSc LSE, MBus RMIT, Dip QS RMIT, MRICS, AAIQS, RBP DBU-19989

As a senior consultant to Construction Planning and Economics, and having been an energetic member of the building design, construction and consulting industry for over 30 years in Australia and overseas, I am an extensively experienced and highly qualified professional consistently providing effective outcomes directly benefiting stakeholders.

Having formal qualifications in building and urban economics, management, city design and social science, I am also a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors and the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors and a Registered Building Practitioner.  My broad management and detailed project planning skills have helped me achieve commercial outcomes within complex environments for government and commercial interests on a broad range of projects.

Recently returning to Melbourne from a challenging and rewarding overseas sabbatical studying at the London School of Economics I now have gained an MSc in City Design and Social Science with a particular emphasis on urban sustainability… Research and urban study tours within Europe, and continued learning and exposure to best international practices, ensure that I am able to offer relevant advice and facilitate successful outcomes.

With training and experience I am quick to understand complex, highly abstract ideas and build systems through detailed analysis.  And, by evaluating underlying principles and structures I can provide insightful and future-oriented responses which develop ingenious ideas.  I am a logical and structured thinker, objective decision-maker and long-range strategic analyst. I am tenacious and results oriented with very high standards of personal competence, integrity and performance

And … in my spare time, I enjoy cycling around Melbourne, the satisfaction of volunteer work and the pleasure of a decent cup of tea.
